Advanced Worksite Traffic Management Non-Practitioner (AWTM-NP) Course
Main Roads has announced the latest level of traffic management accreditation namely the Advanced Worksite Traffic Management Non-Practitioner Accreditation (AWTM-NP). This 4-day course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to review/authorise Traffic Management Plans designed by a person holding an AWTM accreditation and conduct in house compliance audit. This is in alignment with the AGTTM Accreditation AWTM-NP referenced in the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management Part 8.
In WA this MRWA Accreditation enables you to:
- Review TMPs designed by a person holding an AWTM accreditation.
- Monitor implementation and/or undertake in house compliance audits.
This accreditation is suited to Local Government Authorities, Main Roads WA, Road Authorities, Approving Officers, or individuals wanting to sit the course for professional development while seeking ongoing training (incl. refresher training) in roles that do not undertake TTM activities. The AWTM-NP accreditation is not included in the Main Roads pay and conditions for registered TM companies.
Participants will undergo the same theory training and knowledge assessments as the AWTM full course. However, you will NOT BE REQUIRED to develop the Complex & Non-Complex Traffic Management Plan assignments after the in class component. There will be in-class assignments to fulfil the requirement of this accreditation.
Upon successful completion, participants will be issued with a Main Roads Western Australia Accreditation card and certificate. Cards are normally issued on the last day of the course.
This is a non-accredited course.
Main Roads WA accreditation is valid for 3 years.

8:00am – 4:00pm
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled course start time, late attendees may be rejected from the course.

Full price $1,439.00 p/p (includes MRWA Accreditation)
The Construction Training Fund (CTF) provides a subsidy of $992.00 for eligible students – making the course cost to be $447.00.
The Construction Training Fund provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the support of the Construction Training Fund in reducing the costs of the training for eligible workers.

Prerequisites
- No pre-requisites are required for this course.
Training day
To establish your identity WTA requires that you bring to all courses:
- Photo ID
- Construction Safety Awareness (Blue / White) Card
- A valid Unique student identifier (USI)
You will be required to bring a laptop/tablet to access certain resources during your course.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits are provided. There will be a fridge available to keep your lunch cold and a microwave to heat it up. There are also multiple fast food stores on the premises.
